I haven't actually put it all together yet. I still need to stain it, which will require sanding everything because it all comes pre-sealed. I can't really decide if that's a negative or not. Maybe some people will just leave the body and neck as they come, but I imagine most people will want to stain or paint the body, so I would have preferred it to come unsealed. But I guess as sort of a beginner kit, it makes sense to make it so you can just slap it together and call it a day. Anyway, the body and neck are made really well. The fret ends aren't sharp, and the neck binding looks great. All of the wood is smooth and well sanded. The electronics leave a bit to be desired, but you're sort of starting from scratch and can put whatever you want in place of everything that comes stock. I plan to update my review and add some more pictures once I get everything how I want it, but if you get this kit, you've got some really nice bones to work with.

This was a great guitar kit for someone like me that has never attempted something like this. Beautiful wood body and great neck and fretboard. This guitar Les Paul style has perfect sound and bite.

Bought this DIY LP kit as a weekend project and honestly had a great time building it together. We customized the body with our own finish and small design details, which made the guitar feel really personal. It was fun, creative, and very rewarding once everything came together.
